“The Options & Homeless Team are part of the Housing & Building Standards Service.  We sit within the Environment & Infrastructure services directorate of Aberdeenshire Council. We are responsible for the maintenance of the housing waiting list, allocating vacant properties and providing advice on housing options.  We provide a service to anyone who is homeless or threatened with homelessness – trying to prevent it from occurring and providing temporary accommodation and support where it can’t be.”
